Modernization of grain dryer DSP 32.
Primary goal:
- Replacement of the power control cabinet.
- Control of the grain drying process and their parameters.
Scope of work:
- Development of design documentation for an automatic control system.
- Complete set of controls.
- Manufacturing of power and control cabinets.
- Dismantling of old electrical power equipment.
- Installation of automation equipment.
- Commissioning works.
Technical means:
- Power supply and control cabinet.
- Eight-channel temperature monitoring device with alarm OWEN UKT38-Shch4.
- Microprocessor two-channel time relay OWEN UT24.
All electrical switching equipment is housed in cabinets made of 1.5 mm thick steel coated with a polymer powder coating with preliminary phosphating. The boards are certified according to the international standard ISO 9001:2000 PRA 000 3966 dated December 1, 2005. The degree of protection of the cabinets is IP55.
The power distribution circuits are made on the basis of Moeller equipment, the main advantage of which is a high degree of time between failures, fire resistance (class V2 in accordance with UL94 according to IEC 695-2-2), vibration resistance, and dust resistance.
In control cabinets and push-button stations installed at the equipment site, controls (buttons, switches) in the IP65 version are used.
On the front panel of the power supply and control cabinet there are controls and controls for equipment: control buttons “Start”, “Stop”, fan ammeters.
The drying process is monitored using an eight-channel temperature monitoring device with an OWEN UKT38-Shch4 alarm system that measures temperature:
- Grains in the first zone of the first mine.
- Grains in the second zone of the first shaft.
- Grains in the first zone of the second shaft.
- Grains in the second zone of the second shaft.
- First zone drying agent.
- Second zone drying agent.
- The shutter exposure time is set using a microprocessor time relay OWEN UT24.
Result:
Thanks to the implementation of this project, optimal modes of bringing the product to the required storage parameters, fire-safe drying of grains with minimized energy costs with minimal human intervention were provided.
