The pretreatment separator (scalperator) is a bolted steel housing with a mesh drum installed inside it, which is rotated by the drive mounted on the steel housing. The drum is rotated by a drive mounted on a steel housing. A feeding tube is connected to the drum to feed the grain to the drum sieve and separate coarse impurities from the grain.
- Brush cleaners are provided to prevent clogging of the sieve mesh during operation.
- Slide guides in the housing and a pin coupling are installed to enable quick installation/disassembly of the drum.
