Innomotics — an innovative brand with the technological heritage of Siemens

In 2023, Siemens spun off its electric motor and gear motor business into a separate independent company, Innomotics, which today specializes in the production of electric motors, gear motors, drive systems, and industrial solutions. Innomotics is an international company established on the basis of Siemens' motor and drive division.

For many, the emergence of a new name raises a logical question: has the product quality changed after the transition from Siemens to Innomotics?

According to official information from the manufacturer and the "Siemens Ukraine" representative office, the design, technical specifications, and production standards of the products remain unchanged. Products previously manufactured under the SIMOGEAR (Siemens) brand are now supplied under the name Innomotics Standard Geared Motors (SG).

The production of geared motors continues at the same Innomotics European plants in Germany and the Czech Republic, maintaining the technological base, engineering solutions, and Siemens quality control systems.

Innomotics today is:

• over 150 years of engineering heritage;
• about 15,000 employees worldwide;
• over 3 billion euros in annual turnover;
• own production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, the USA, China, Brazil, Turkey, and South Africa.

In Ukraine, Innomotics is represented by SE "Siemens Ukraine".

Thus, the brand change does not mean a change in quality or the technical level of the products. Innomotics continues to develop Siemens technologies in the field of drive technology and industrial geared motors.
