Construction of a feed mill and grain elevator in the Lviv region
Today, Ukraine is actively increasing value-added production in the agricultural sector, specifically through the development of grain processing. A prime example is the construction of a state-of-the-art feed mill and grain elevator in the Lviv region.
The Grain Capital Group of Companies serves as the general contractor for the supply and installation of elevator equipment.
Currently, the installation of Symaga silos is underway. The project includes a silo park with a total capacity of 20,000 tons, ensuring a continuous production cycle. Key crops — wheat, corn, and soybeans — will be stored in three silos with a capacity of 5,000 tons each. Processed products (meal, cake) will be stored in six hopper-bottom silos (60° cone) with a capacity of 1,000 tons each.
Given the difficulty of discharging such products, the use of bin activators (vibrating dischargers) for the 60° hopper silos was integrated at the planning stage. This solution ensures stable discharge and significantly speeds up the process.
Special attention is paid to environmental safety. Although the complex is located outside residential areas, all technological processes are equipped with modern aspiration and dust collection systems. The air purification level reaches 99.6%, meeting international standards and minimizing environmental impact.
