Opening of the Smart-equipment laboratory at ONAPT

Scientific and production complex, which includes GC "Zernovaya Stolitsa" and Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, has opened an educational and scientific laboratory "Smart-equipment" on the basis of the department of technological equipment of grain processing industries.

"As for the laboratory we opened, it is the result of our joint work. The idea was the following: we wanted to help the department in qualitative preparation of specialists for the realities of modern enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, and to give students the opportunity to get acquainted with intellectual means in the field of increasing the reliability of equipment operation. If earlier our mechanics were focused on primitive repair works, today they should be able to service high-tech equipment using modern technologies" - Director of "Zernovaya Stolitsa - Engineering" O.I. The joint laboratory project, developed over six months, received modern elevator equipment equipped with an intelligent control, diagnostics and maintenance planning system based on SMART technology.

SMART Individual technology is a hardware-software complex, which includes high-tech elevator equipment equipped with a system of full autonomous protected operation: sensors, industrial controllers, starting and protection equipment, audio and visual signaling. The applied unique software of domestic development easily scales the possibilities of monitoring, control and diagnostics - from a separate piece of equipment to the whole technological process of the elevator.

"The laboratory we have opened provides the educational process with visual material, modern quality technological equipment, which graduates of the Academy will probably encounter in Ukraine, in Europe, in the Middle East or somewhere else in the world. It contains a new generation management system. A system that already prepares students for practical work: not only basic skills, direct maintenance skills, but also understanding of the principles of enterprise reliability management as a whole.
