Agribusiness in Ukraine: results of Grain Ukraine 2023

Agribusiness in Ukraine is undergoing large-scale changes, but no negative factors should not change the position of the country and disrupt the capacity of production. To ensure these conditions and cohesion of all those involved in the agro-industry, for more than 7 years a business event in the format of the International Conference - Grain Ukraine - has been held.

Nothing stopped the Grain Conference this year. The event took place on May 30-31, 2023 and became a big event since the beginning of the war, which gathered about 700 participants.

The whole process marked an exchange of views and consisted of 6 stages of discussions. Important issues addressed were:

• strengthening Ukrainian grain exports;
• introduction of innovations in the grain industry;
• preservation of markets for Ukrainian grain to the EU, Africa and Asia;
• improving the logistics corridor, including the European integration of Ukrzaliznytsia;
• financial assistance.

As a result, negotiations were held, ways to diversify the agro-industrial sector, prospects for the future and other issues that will affect the life of the population and labor of agrarians were considered.
