Expanding the capabilities of the Nizhyn plant

Grain Capital specialists have successfully manufactured and shipped to Nizhyn fat plant a set of transportation equipment including ZEO-DC chain conveyors, ZEO-BE elevators and gooseneck chain conveyors with 90 degree product lift angle. The new equipment is designed for transportation of sunflower and sunflower cake at the oil extraction plant, which specializes in sunflower processing.

Among the equipment, a conveyor with a product transportation angle of 90 degrees and a capacity of 150 t/h for sunflower with a bulk weight of 0.4 t/m³ is particularly noteworthy. It has specific technical characteristics: the inner cross-section of the box is 1310x1000 mm, and the dimension of the drive station is 3140 mm. This solution was an important step in expanding the storage capacity of the raw material elevator and the construction of a new cake preparation line before feeding into the extraction department.

It was not without its funny moments. As the customer pointed out:

"When we received the equipment, the sheer size of it really amazed us, but an even bigger surprise for us was to see the installer's reaction when he saw this conveyor belt and realized he was going to have to install it."

Grain Capital Regional Sales Manager Maxim Andriychuk noted:

"At first we were hesitant to take on this project, but the customer contacted us again and explained that he had not found another company on the market that could fulfill this task. Taking into account our long and fruitful history of cooperation, we decided to support the customer and, after consulting with the designers, we undertook the realization of this project".
