A screw auger conveyor is a type of conveying equipment for feeding bulk materials based on the Archimedean screw principle. A flat metal strip shaped like an auger (screw) is the traction unit of such a conveyor. The auger blade rotates around a longitudinal axis and conveys the bulk materials along the axis through a fixed tray or pipe, which also acts as a load-bearing unit. It allows both horizontal and inclined feeding (up to 30°) of the material conveyed.
- High level of reliability and maintainability.
- Replacing an auger unit without disassembling the conveyor housing.
- Up to 250 rpm optimized speed of the working body to minimize grain breakage.
- Guaranteed rated performance.
- Accurate manufacturing and statistical balancing of equipment.
- The thickness of the auger blade is up to 6 mm.
- Applying loaded parts of the drive and belt tensioner made of alloy steels of Steel 45 and Steel 40X grades.
- The use of European-made drives with a high service factor.
- Design of the conveyor in a pipe and in a U-shaped box.
- Leak-proof design.
- An option to design equipment for operating conditions in ATEX 21 and ATEX 22 zones.
