The scraper conveyor is used for cleaning grain residues after unloading silos with a concrete (flat) base with a diameter of 16 to 32 meters. The design includes the scraper conveyor itself: it is located in a metal box and is driven by a gear motor.
On the drive side, the grain scraper conveyor is pivoted on the axis of the central discharge hopper of the silo. This enables circular rotation around the geometric axis. The movement is carried out using a pushing mechanism of the “tractor”. It gradually brings the scraper conveyor to the grain mass for its transportation to the central discharge hopper.
The work process is carried out in a semi-automatic mode. After startup, the system activates the conveyor, and the “tractor” directs it to the remaining products. Thanks to the traction body of the stripping scraper conveyor, the grain is transported directly to the central funnel. If the permissible load on the auger motor is exceeded, the tractor motor automatically switches off and on again when the load is reduced.
